Listening to Travis Picking Music

Listening to guitar players like Merle Travis, Chet Atkins, and Tommy Emmanuel is a great way to get the feel for Travis Picking. All three of them use a thumb pick, which is the traditional way of doing it. But each of them has their own style. So I recommend experimenting and finding what works best for you. Thumb pick or no thumb.
