There Will Never Be Another You

“There Will Never Be Another You” was written in 1942 by composer Harry Warren with lyrics by Mack Gordon for the film Iceland. Introduced during the swing era, it quickly moved beyond its movie origins into the jazz repertoire.

The song became a favorite among improvisers for its elegant harmony and clear melodic shape. Recordings by vocalists and instrumentalists alike helped establish it as a lasting standard, regularly performed in clubs, studios, and jam sessions.
