“And I Love Her” was written by Paul McCartney with credit to Lennon–McCartney and released in 1964 on A Hard Day’s Night. Emerging during the height of Beatlemania, the song revealed a softer, more intimate side of the band.
Built around a gentle melody and distinctive acoustic guitar figure, it stood apart from their earlier pop-rock sound. The song’s restrained emotion and elegant simplicity helped it endure as one of their most quietly influential love songs.
